Every child deserves a champion-an adult who will never give up on them, who understands the power of connection, and insists that they become the best that they can possibly be.

PHILOSOPHY
Don't just teach. Inspire!- Charles Platt
I strive to create a positive learning environment where students feel safe, welcome, accepted, and eager to learn. I plan to cultivate and sustain a strong working relationship with all members of my school community, whether it be administration, my colleagues, my students or my students parents and relatives. I believe it is imperative to provide student-driven project based learning. I follow the "I do, we do, you do" model of gradual release. Lastly, we are moving towards a data-driven education, based on the technology provided. Data driven education helps us collect and analyze students work, which then allows us to provide effective feedback to our students. I believe it is imperative to provide accurate and effective feedback to not only my students, but to myself as well. Reflecting on my own work enables me to perfect my craft and improve outcomes for my students.
